Tribal Mission aims at sending committed missionaries to various unreached tribal groups. The missionaries live among the tribals, and gradually establish rapport with them. The missionary acts as their friend, philosopher and guide and uses all his God given talents to bring them to Christ. The aim of the missionary is to establish a worshiping community of tribal believers and the missionary himself pastors the growing Church. Non-Tribals living in the vicinity are allowed to participate in the worship services but are not given membership in these Churches. The Tribal Mission also helps believers to grow up spiritually and take up leadership of the local Churches. Interested believers are sent to Bible Schools and given basic theological training after which they serve as native missionaries among their own people.
Medical Camp
We organise medical camps where no hospital or medical facilities are available to take care the basic needs. We send our highly qualified doctors to those tribal belts to camp, to check the patients and distribute medicines at free of cost. Though it is a matter of very heavy expenditure, we bear the burden for their betterment.
Hostel – New
For Tribal students with a view to impart high quality secular education and train them to be good, morally upright and God-fearing citizens. Dedicated missionaries, who maintain a high degree of discipline among the inmates, manage these hostels. We have, presently, housed with 45 boys and 55 girls from the huts of below poverty, keeping the extension of infrastructure we have in hand, though there is great need to enlarge the provision. The main painstaking concern to pinpoint here is that we have most of these children from the streets where they have no hopes and life at all. We have, in fact, now taking care of their everything such as shelter, cloth, food plus sending them to school, etc. depending on their needs.
School
Lack of education is one of the important factors contributing to the ignorance and poverty of the Tribals. Tribal Mission presently runs Nursery Schools in our main mission centers. Dedicated qualified missionaries teach in these schools and hence the schools attract lot of students from the tribal areas. Uniforms, slates, pencils & books are distributed freely to the tribal children in these schools.
